إن الله لا يغير ما بقوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم

يقول الإمام ابن القيم رحمه الله تعليقا على هذه الآية الكريمة :

"من الآفات الخفية العامة أن يكون العبد في نعمة أنعم الله بها عليه واختارها له، فيملها ويطلب الانتقال منها إلى ما يزعم لجهله أنه خير له منها، وربه برحمته لا يخرجه من تلك النعمة، ويعذره بجهله وسوء اختياره لنفسه، حتى إذا ضاق ذرعًا بتلك النعمة وسخطها وتبرم بها واستحكم ملله لها سلبه الله إياها‏.‏ فإذا انتقل إلى ما طلبه ورأى التفاوت بين ما كان فيه وما صار إليه، اشتد قلقه وندمه وطلب العودة إلى ما كان فيه، فإذا أراد الله بعبده خيرًا ورشدًا أشهده أن ما هو فيه نعمة من نعمة عليه ورضاه به وأوزعه شكره عليه، فإذا حدثته نفسه بالانتقال عنه استخار ربه استخارة جاهل بمصلحته عاجز عنها، مفوض إلى الله طالب منه حسن اختياره له‏.‏

وليس على العبد أضر من ملله لنعم الله، فإنه لا يراها نعمة ولا يشكره عليها ولا يفرح بها، بل يسخطها ويشكوها ويعدها مصيبة‏.‏ هذا وهي من أعظم نعم الله عليه، فأكثر الناس أعداء نعم الله عليهم ولا يشعرون بفتح الله عليهم نعمة، وهم مجتهدون في دفعها وردها جهلا وظلمًا‏.‏ فكم سعت إلى أحدهم من نعمة وهو ساعٍ في ردها بجهده، وكم وصلت إليه وهو ساعٍ في دفعها وزوالها بظلمه وجهله، قال تعالى‏:‏‏ ﴿‏ذلك بأن الله لم يك مغيرًا نعمة أنعمها على قوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم‏﴾ ‏[الأنفال‏:‏ ‏53‏]‏‏، وقال تعالى‏:‏ ﴿‏إن الله لا يغير ما بقوم حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم‏﴾ ‏[الرعد‏:‏ ‏11‏]، ‏‏فليس للنعم أعدى من نفس العبد، فهو مع عدوه ظهير على نفسه، فعدوه يطرح النار في نعمة وهو ينفخ فيها، فهو الذي مكنه من طرح النار ثم أعانه بالنفخ، فإذا اشتد ضرامها استغاث من الحريق وكان غايته معاتبة الأقدار‏:‏

وعاجز الرأي مضياع لفرصته * * * حتى إذا فاته أمر عاتب القدرا

انتهى كلامه رحمه الله..

وجاء في تفسير السعدي:

﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ﴾ من النعمة والإحسان, ورغد العيش ﴿حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ﴾ بأن ينتقلوا من الإيمان إلى الكفر, ومن الطاعة إلى المعصية، أو من شكر نعم الله إلى البطر بها, فيسلبهم الله إياها عند ذلك.
وكذلك إذا غير العباد, ما بأنفسهم من المعصية, فانتقلوا إلى طاعة الله, غير الله عليهم, ما كانوا فيه من الشقاء, إلى الخير والسرور والغبطة والرحمة.

سئل الشيخ عبد العزيز بن باز رحمه الله:

س: ما تفسيـر قـول الحق تبارك وتعـالى في سـورة الرعـد: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ﴾

ج: الآية الكريمة آية عظيمة تدل على أن الله تبارك وتعالى بكمال عدله وكمال حكمته لا يُغير ما بقوم من خير إلى شر، ومن شر إلى خير ومن رخاء إلى شدة، ومن شدة إلى رخاء حتى يغيروا ما بأنفسهم، فإذا كانوا في صلاح واستقامة وغيروا غير الله عليهم بالعقوبات والنكبات والشدائد والجدب والقحط، والتفرق وغير هذا من أنواع العقوبات جزاء وفاقًا قال سبحانه: ﴿وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ﴾.

وقد يمهلهم سبحانه ويملي لهم ويستدرجهم لعلهم يرجعون ثم يؤخذون على غرة كما قال سبحانه: ﴿فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ﴾يعني آيسون من كل خير، نعوذ بالله من عذاب الله ونقمته، وقد يؤجلون إلى يوم القيامة فيكون عذابهم أشد كما قال سبحانه: ﴿وَلا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ﴾والمعنى أنهم يؤجلون ويمهلون إلى ما بعد الموت، فيكون ذلك أعظم في العقوبة وأشد نقمة.

وقد يكونون في شر وبلاء ومعاصي ثم يتوبون إلى الله ويرجعون إليه ويندمون ويستقيمون على الطاعة فيغير الله ما بهم من بؤس وفرقة ومن شدة وفقر إلى رخاء ونعمة واجتماع كلمة وصلاح حال بأسباب أعمالهم الطيبة وتوبتهم إلى الله سبحانه وتعالى وقد جاء في الآية الأخرى: ﴿ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَى قَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ﴾ فهذه الآية تبين لنا أنهم إذا كانوا في نعمة ورخاء وخير ثم غيروا بالمعاصي غير عليهم -ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله- وقد يمهلون كما تقدم والعكس كذلك إذا كانوا في سوء ومعاص، أو كفر وضلال ثم تابوا وندموا واستقاموا على طاعة الله غيَّر الله حالهم من الحالة السيئة إلى الحالة الحسنة، غير تفرقهم إلى اجتماع ووئام، وغير شدتهم إلى نعمة وعافية ورخاء، وغير حالهم من جدب وقحط وقلة مياه ونحو ذلك إلى إنزال الغيث ونبات الأرض وغير ذلك من أنواع الخير

          The orgy of violence by so called “Kar Sevaks” at Ayudhya on December 6, 1992, which resulted in the demolition of the historic Babri Masque, left 11 Muslims dead and about two dozen injured. Hundreds of Muslims were killed elsewhere in India.

          As many as 258 Muslim houses were destroyed completely or partially and 4500 Muslims were displaced. Besides the Babri Masjid, seven other mosques destroyed partially. The Muslims killed in Ayudhya by the Hindu militants include the two sons of the late Imam of the Babri Masjid, Maulvi Abdul Ghaffar, who led the prayers in the mosque till the night of December 23, 1949, when the idols were surreptitiously installed in the mosque.

          From the circumstantial evidence, it appears that the Hindu militants were given 40-hour by the State Government and the Central Government after imposition of the President’s rule not only to demolish the Babri Mosque and erect a temple in its place but also to destroy the symbols of Islam and uproot the Muslims living in Ayudhya.

          Before being torched and demolished, Muslim houses and shops were looted by the local Hindus and those from outside. Houses and shops of Muslims adjoining the Hindu houses and shops were burnt taking full care that Hindu houses and property are not damaged at all.

         

          The loss of Muslim property in Ayudhya violence is estimated to the tune of over Rs two Crore approximately. It does not include the household goods, jewellery and other items looted from the houses.

          Allowing wilfully the demolition of the Babri Masjid by the Central and State Governments

Is a crime in itself, which the Indian Muslims are not going to forget. There, however, is no need for despair. Muslims have to lend tongue and teeth to the truth. And above all, Allah Almighty too favours the Right alone. But He also helps those alone who help themselves. Though the Babri Masjid is demolished, the morale of Muslims is still high. They wish and pray for the safety and stability of the country. We can still save the country since a large majority of the Indians, our Hindu brothers are God-fearing and peace loving people. Their hearts also bleed with us on this heinous crime of the demolition of the Mosque. With the grace of God India is still not starved for the honest leaders. They are existing in abundance in the country that has the capability to isolate the communalists.

We wish that the scars of the deep wounds should be erased and therefore demand that:

(A)The temporary structure of the temple erected between 6th and 7th December should be removed.

(B) The Babri Masjid should be rebuilt on the same site and handed over to the Muslims.
